Bruce's
Home Inspection Company
PROVIDING
A HIGH LEVEL OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE WITH LOYALTY AND INTEGRITY
SINCE 1982
A
home inspection is just one of the many important steps
in the process of buying a home. If you prefer not to do
this alone, give us a call. We would be honored to walk
with you through the home inspection process. We will do
our best to disclose the major defects that may exist at
the time of the inspection.
The
home inspection may result in the need for other inspections,
further evaluation, and additional cost. The price of a
"home inspection" should not be your only qualifier
for a home inspector. Bruce's Home Inspection Company of
Houston has a lot to offer: experience, knowledge, timely
reports, digital pictures, graph of structure, summary page,
etc. We use a Comp-u-level to give you a topographical view
of the slab elevation.
The
inspection process is far too complex to be taken lightly.
Since this is one of the largest investments you may ever
make we want you to have a thorough understanding of the
property. You should plan 3 - 4 hours for the inspection,
come dressed to take part in the process and, if possible,
stay for the whole inspection. A home inspection is a discovery
and learning time. We will take the time to walk you through
the house and point out the important areas that should
be of interest to a new owner. We are open to your questions,
keep in mind that there are no dumb questions. If it is
important to you, it is important to us. Helping you get
the answers is job one. If we do not know the answer we
will find it for you.
It
is our privilege and duty to inform our client. We work
for you....not the real estate agent. We do our best to
stay up with changes in the industry and share this information
with you. Some items in the report may be recommendations
for update or replacement that is intended to serve you
better or for your safety. Building codes change every year.
You may not be obligated or required to update the house
but you should be informed as to the need to do so, then
you can make changes if you choose to. The seller is not
obligated to make the house "new" for you, only
to tell you what he knows about its condition.
You
deserve the experience of a professional home inspector,
licensed by the state, and a member of the Texas Professional
Real Estate Inspectors Association (TPREIA). We are a member
of the Houston Board of Realtors (HAR) and have a SupraKey
for your convenience. We are a member of the National Association
of Certified Home Inspectors which helps to keep us keep
in touch with changes across the country that may affect
you.
We
will go where your need is. It is never too far to a client's
house whether it is Katy, Kingwood, Pearland, The Woodlands
or anywhere else in the Houston area.. A travel fee may
be added for out of town inspections.
